I want to start off by saying this was the first time I have ever took such a long round trip with my family from Boston to Florida and it was one of most traumatizing things we ever had to experience. Another passenger took our bag by mistake. She brought it right back to Greyhound in LA. We called LA Greyhound for 4 hours, during business hours, and no one ever picked up the phone. Called customer service, waited at least 15 minutes on each occasion before someone live came on the line, and they either gave me the same phone number no one would pick up, or put me on hold and ended up... My daughter was recently left stranded at the Port Authority Bus Terminal during her Thanksgiving travel home! Her bus was one hour late and arrived 4 hours late to NYC causing her to miss her connection. After standing at the counter for 45 minutes, she was told they were adding another bus. 01/14/14 departed frm Port Authority destination Elmira,NY. Stop at Scraton,PA delayed waiting for another connecting bus. Arrived at Binghamton,NY. Was not told of a transfer no one new ANYTHING. On dec 19 2013 my bus one way from yakima to Pasco broke down #gil 6910 I called asap to customers services 214-849-8966 me and over 25 others where stranded in a very bad city grayhound told us they refused to provide us with a cab to our destination or hotel accommodations the number mentioned above doesn't work none of the Texas numbers do I wrote about 15 emails at least just to get a refund... I was only allowed to print my ticket at the greyhound terminal - I couldn't purchase by my credit card or over the phone. Even their hotline said I had to purchase the ticket at the location. Once I did, I couldn't get a reprinted ticket - they claimed you can only reprint your ticket if you purchase online or over the phone. I have been dealing with Greyhound for many years and sister in law takes bus from group home to pa. We missed bus due to her disability and getting her ready and Greyhound would not refund or give us a future ticket for that one way, so I had to drive her 3.5 hours home and then drive back.
