I recently took greyhound from Carbondale,Il to Portland,Or for a spring break trip. The trip to Portland was pleasant, no delays and arrived an hour late. On the way back it was a completely different story. I left on Tuesday afternoon hoping to be home on Thursday at 8pm. Because of a winter storm in Wyoming, we had to reroute. Upon arriving to Grand Junction,Colorado, we were informed that I-70 was closed due to a winter storm. We basically... Read more

I am not here to *** about schedules or fare cost (as advertised). I am here to complain about their business practices. They are deceptive and they have no remorse about it. I booked a one way trip for my brother three days in advance. The cost was $20 for a 150 mile trip. No complaints here. He showed up one in advance to get the ticket in hand and could not produce the confirmation number that was that should have been visible in the... Read more

5-hour delay on the bus from LA to San Jose. Staff at SJ station said, 'Yes, the bus was late, but you should have booked an express bus.' I didn't even get an apology for the absurd delay. 14 hours from LA to San Jose!! (Megabus does SJ-LA in 6 hours.) The driver did not know the way, had to ask the passengers the whole time where to go. Seats are very uncomfortable (window seats have some metal pieces that hurt a lot, plastic support for the... A friend traveled from the mid-west to Las Vegas to switch buses and continue to Los Angeles with a ticket purchased online for the ENTIRE trip. The bus driver from the mid-west to Las Vegas route was running an hour late, but failed to call anyone and let them know. Once the bus arrived in Las Vegas and my friend got off the bus, they informed them that his transfer bus had already left because his first driver was an hour late. NOW, my friend... Read more

Why does everyone at greyhound have a horrible attitude?!!!!! The bus drivers are HORRIBLE. One yelled at someone because they were talking. One yelled because someone had their headphones too loud. I mean sheesh is the attitude necessary??! I will never use this again. Read more

The worst company to go to. Right now I'm stranded at greyhound. Crazy right how the heck someone get stuck at the bus station who took the time and book the *** tickets a day ahead. So I'm waiting about 7 hours. Maybe they find me a ride. I mean I did pay for it. Add comment
