Your ticket purchasing system via Greyhound's web site and refund policies is Greyhound's virtual "licence to steal" from many of your unwary consumers. I remember a time before the internet a person purchased a ticket at the counter they were refundable and transferable. Thieves is all you are now. Worse as a matter of fact. I purchased tickets about 3 weeks my travel date was 12/20/14 which when i got to greyhound @235am i was asking Security where do i go to catch the Megabus she didn't no so when i aakes another customer they told me where to go so by the time i found it the bus was pulling off so i called Customer service @6 to see what i need to do they told to go back up there at @340 is when the next bus comes... Greyound is the worst. Thats it . its my last time using this company. I bought my ticket online. Had it on my cellphone like all other company do. Give them the confirmation number . They say they can find me. I was suppose to leave at 4:40 and arrived at 8:10. Now i have t leave at 8 and arrived at 3pm. You guys are really unprofessional. Add comment

I got on a Greyhound on Saturday 12/5 and it also happened to be my birthday. I started in Lagrange, GA to Indianapolis. The whole trip was absolutely horrible! I took the greyhound yesterday, IT WAS TERRIBLE! From Chicago to St. Louis is 4 hours, the trip made numerous of stops so the trip was going to be 6 hours. I'm fine with the trip being longer because it is a bus, speed limits are different and they make stops. My trip was supposed to be from 3:00 pm-9:40 pm, I didn't get to St. Louis until 12:00 am. Taking bus from Ithaca to NYC. First off, bus was late almost an hour. Everyone waiting and no one to ask for help. Called customer service. They didn't know where the bus was and couldn't help. So the gave me another number. On hold for another 25 minutes. Gave up once bus finally came. Once on bus, outlets not working. Wifi not working. No wonder all the bad reviews. Agreed, every time I have an issue with buying tickets on Greyhound's website it is an absolute nightmare to try to navigate through customer service... 30+ minute wait times, only to be transferred to another line with a longer wait time & ultimately no resolution... I don't think I've ever actually had anything solved successfully through their customer service, ever. I always just give up... Read more

Greyhound was the worst travel experience I've ever had terrible customer service every bus was late every driver was rude rude rude and layover after layover and it was not cheap I would advise people to not ever deal with greyhound they lie and u get treated like garbage no matter who u r for a big old price tag of 320$ fromlasvegas to texas and wfmharmt was supposed to take 1day and 22hours...
