Due to the weather conditions on the North East over this past MLK weekend (specifically on 01/18/15) I called 4 numbers for Greyhound to change the departure date on my ticket (I called 20 hours before departure, around 3PM EST, when the ice rain got heavier and turned the roads on the driveway to my house located at the top of a hill, to glare ice - news reports of pileups and accidents were... Grey hound is by far the worst busline in America. Your experience with the low class bus line will result with an unpleasant experience. Mostly ran by uneducated minorities who dislike whites. Your much better off and cheaper to take the train or fly. The rates are rediculous when you compare train or schedule a flight in advance Add comment

And money was deducted from my credit card. Mr. Louis gave me a conf#47853733 and told me to show this conf# To greyhound office at port authority in order to pick up my tickets.... Read more

This company makes me so mad and fustrated . Had no other option but to take a grey hound in order to make it back to base in time after hitting black ice and totaling a car. Well anyway, luggage and myself along with a buddy made it on done from Wyoming to utah, in salt lake we transferred busses and after asking over and over again if my bags and boxes were going to make it on I was told yes,... My 20 yr old son bought a ticket, had to change the time for the ticket. Made the 2 hour round trip to change the time. Came time for him to leave and he forgot his ticket at home. We called on our way and miraculously got a person with in 10 min, we were just 20 min from our house. They said they could reprint the ticket with the conf# so we had another family member take a pic of the ticket and... Read more

Your ticket purchasing system via Greyhound's web site and refund policies is Greyhound's virtual "licence to steal" from many of your unwary consumers. I remember a time before the internet a person purchased a ticket at the counter they were refundable and transferable. Thieves is all you are now. Worse as a matter of fact. You steal while were looking right at you as your policy hand cuffs us... Read more
