The trip there was okay but the facilities were dirty broken every bathroom stop that we went to was broken or nasty the lady did not reissue my ticket I had to wait 12 hours and Chicago with two of my girls one of them being autistic and they didn't update my ticket until the next morning and then I had to wait another 6 hours I wasn't the only person and the Greyhound in Chicago that was complaining about this and I asked over and over again if my ticket needed to be reissued and the lady had told me no and then the next day so I'm tells me oh no this needs to be reissued so I had to get a new ticket with to go different way I don't like the policy where you have to come and get your ticket an hour when my car was stuck I've had complaints about Greyhound before and they took almost $400 last trip that I went to in Nebraska and I can't get a discount I can't get anything it's just our money is being taken it's not even being considered that the ticket is was not being used and telling them that I was car broke down and I wasn't able to make it but if I drove there before an hour that I could get my money back which I couldn't at the time because it took almost an hour to get someone to help us tow the car and also I'd like to add that when I asked if there was some way I can sit with all I can't they told me that I have to deal with it and that I couldn't sit with my kids which one of them had ptsd.and the other one was autistic so I had to ask people if I could have a seat at least with the youngest one and likely people were nice but the Greyhound people tell me to just deal with it and find a seat

Do that and everything but they don't report that the toilets are being clogged they just walk away the bathrooms are really nasty you're a Chicago greyhound needs to be more customer service I'm not talk to people like their not people I think people should be able to get their money back if they cannot make a trip regardless if they can

I 'Ve been given 7 different numbers for disconnected lines, I followed and paid for my extra stuff. Now the station claims it can't find my stuff, eventhough, your tracking system, said my stuff is there. I have never had such treatment from ANY OTHER company, this is disgusting and fraudulent, and I will be contacting be the authority to complain about your fraudulent services, and your company for ignoring common respect education for your labor slaves, I will never have custom with your corporation again, and Will spread the word about how your services aren't services, to anyone who will listen, and you'll lose more business than you have already, not to mention the legal tort I have been writing up for your "legal" attention, look up Morgan and Morgan, never use this "service"they treat you like cows, and steal your luggage!
Preferred solution: My whole life is in those bags, including raw film, and raw microchips, and irreplaceable items.

A complaint about a huge problem caused when a bus did not stop at the location listed on the ticket and left without me.
First passenger, ticket date and intinerary
Passenger name: Kevin Lillard. Trip date: March 18.
Starting point: Tomah, Wisconsin. Pickup time: 2:55 a.m. Destination, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Confirmation number, 8641****. Schedule: GLI4932.
Listed station address: McDonalds Restaurant, 2015 N.
Superior Ave., Tomah, Wisconsin.
The story: I showed up at the McDonalds well before boarding and departure time. No bus appeared at the pickup place listed on the ticket. Around 3:05 a.m. the bus passed the McDonalds, headed on U.S.
12 and drove off onto the interstate highway westbound without me.
I did everything correct. I booked the ticket well in advance and waited at the pickup location printed on the ticket. Obviously, that printed pickup location was either incorrect, or the driver ignored it.
A manager at a nearby Denny's restaurant claimed that Greyhound buses no longer picked up passengers at the McDonalds. If this is correct, that would mean passengers would need to search the entire truck stop where the pickup point is located to find where the bus picks up passengers.
The only help I could get from a customer assistance agent at the early hour was to book me on the next bus leaving Tomah for Minneapolis, several hours later.
The E-mail listing the new booking listed the same McDonalds as the pickup point as the original ticket.
It also should be noted that both the McDonalds and the small Tomah Greyhound station were closed at the early hour.
However, nothing indicated that the pickup point would change at early hours. Had that been made clear, this major problem might have been avoided.
So consider this a complaint against the driver and the Greyhound system for causing trouble that easily could have been avoided with more attention to detail and actual care for customers.
Preferred solution: An honest answer from Greyhound on what went wrong.

Your bus company didn't tag my daughters under bus luggage in Houston upon boarding on 01/21/2022 at 6:30 am travel because the Houston station was closed when she boarded. Departure bus showed up an hour and a half late so because of this the bus driver when they got to Fort Worth told my daughter to get off the bus and take the bus in Fort Worth Station to Lubbock Texas.
Well, they never took her under bus luggage off the Houston bus and because they didnt put tags on her luggage in Houston like they were supposed to because the station was closed, They lost her suit cases with all her belongings in them.
Now this is a situation that could have been prevented if your staff had done their jobs correctly. I expect this to be resolved ASAP by your company.

- Dont hire enough drivers for sold tickets

As stated in the Intercity Motorcoach Customer Bill of Rights, patrons of the buses are entitled to dependable, safe, and reliable transportation. My partner and I did not experience this on Sunday while attempting to travel to his parents' house in Denver.
We booked tickets from Frisco on the 4:45pm bus the day before, checked in 2 hours prior per the email instructions, and were at the bus stop an hour early. The bus never arrived, and after further investigation, we discovered it had never entered Colorado and was in Las Vegas or Utah at the time (the bus tracker was not consistent).
We received no previous notice, no delay of travel notification, or apology for the inconvenience. We stood outside in single digit weather for an hour and a half waiting for this bus with absolutely zero communication from Greyhound. On attempting to call the assistance line, I was placed on hold for 30 minutes.
My phone battery eventually became so low due to the cold that I had to hang up to save battery in case of an emergency as we were in a town neither of us had visited before.
Ultimately, my partner's mother had to drive up from Denver in an old car that was not reliable at night (up I-70 at night) after already having gone to bed.
I want a full refund for the price of our tickets; I am not going to pay for a service which I did not receive.
I would also like to add that I have had an extremely difficult time navigating customer service to find this email submission portal, including having called and spoken to representatives 3 times, each of which had me on hold for 15+ minutes just for an employee to tell me there was no one to talk to, contrary to what is stated online.
I am looking back to hearing from y'all. Thank you.

Bus late or not on time
But eventually the bus left that's what an employee told us and then she say they no bus running and all the seat is sold out. So she reprinted it our ticket and say you guys got to go back towards Kansas City and my buddy and I didn't want to argue with them.. so they print out ticket to go back to Kansas City and when we got there right the bus left and the lady at Kansas City Missouri employee said she can't do nothing about it but to print us another ticket to go towards Sioux falls and then to Minnesota and that's the only option good she said.so every stop is kept on getting delayed and left behind and reprinting a new tickets.so so the line was busy and flooded with people so I didn't want to make a hassle in made them people with like me cuz I know how I feel like to be left behind.

I am so disappointed about the level of care the greyhound house with a customer my son has been traveling since Sunday night from Fort Worth Texas and has not arrived at his designation place of Hinesville Fleming,ga he was delayed for many hours in several citys and missed connections and was reissued tickets many times. No more food money and still traveling.
Yesterday he was in Savannah ga and was 1 hour away from his destination and some lost agent reissued his ticket and put him on a bus going up north and he has been traveling since and has been all the way to new year and is headed back to savannah ga where he was at yesterday.
The way that this has been handled this is so horrible theres no empathy no no type of remorse there is nobody that I can talk to on the phone to assist me with getting him what he needs this is really sad being stuck going places you shouldn't be gone he was supposed to have been where he supposed to have got to this yesterday morning Tuesday morning at 8:15 he was supposed to be in Fleming Hinesville Georgia, and he's still traveling the heater when I have no food no money no no phone no nothing and calling the 800 number you get booking department there's nobody that can help customer service you cannot call them I cannot believe greyhound is still operating like this is 2020 to making money off the backs of the people that theyre treating like trash now I need to get somebody that needs to get in contact with me because this is ridiculous. I want a full refund of this ticket I paid 210.99.

They have no Direct line to customer service you have to go on the website and go on the Feedback and leave them a message and wait for them to contact you back this is not the way to handle business stay far and clear away from them you will get to where you going faster and better traveling on an airplane
