Inappropriate bus driver behavior

Hello, I was scheduled to get on a 7:30 bus from NYC NY to Binghamton NY on 10/30/19. The bus was suppose to leave NYC at 7:30pm. Customers didn’t start boarding the bus until 7:49pm. I asked the ticket collector why the bus was late and he said the bus broke down. I asked him other questions. He said to ask the bus driver. When I got on the bus I followed his instructions and asked the bus driver some questions. The driver, Michael Boatang, responded in a violent and emotionally charged way. He gave me no information. Worse, he responded with anger, frustration, angst and irritability. I was so uncomfortable. I felt unsafe by his violent, crude and emotionally unregulated responses. No bus driver should EVER treat a customer this way, especially since I was instructed to ask the bus driver questions. It is inappropriate and unprofessional. I should not be treated with emotional and verbal abuse. My case number is 971290. I expect to hear the results of this case via email. I was told by another passenger on the bus that if I report this incident Greyhound won’t do anything about this. It is not ok that customers feel their feedback doesn’t matter especially since customers keep the company in business! This bus driver, Michael B, needs to be fired or Greyhound needs to provide anger management courses for their drivers. Greyhound services a lot of people of color, minorities and people of low socioeconomic status. These customers, like myself, should not be treated this way. We prevent the company from going out of business.

Look, Drama 101 is down the hall. This is the exact reason the ticket person passed you off to a poor bus driver who I'm sure didn't immediately explode on you. The bus broke down. How much more did you need to know, what part broke?

You wanted to act like a nut and was treated like a nut. Doesn't feel nice huh.

Please stay home and leave the rest of the world alone. This is the part where people like you enjoy saying "you must work for them."

I've had drivers much worse than that before. Once, when I was riding Greyhound, me and all of the other passengers had been waiting for the bus to leave out of Cleveland for a very unusually long time.

The driver was standing in the aisle looking back at everyone and people were calling out to him asking him why we were being kept so long. He didn't answer anyone and had this sadistic looking smirk on his face.

We had to wait at least an our for the bus to leave, without any kind of explanation as to what was going on. The bus was packed to "Sardine City" capacity and I think that they should have just let us get off of the bus if we were going to have to wait that long.

My friend, I am sure that your service animal will be cleaner and more well behaved than 90% of the people riding on that bus. You should ride up front kitty-corner to the driver, that's the best seat in the house!

You can watch the road roll out in front of you from there.

That was always my first choice of a place to sit. Also, when they would stop fro one of those infamous 45 minute meal stops at McDonalds, I would always be the first passenger off of the bus and then I wouldn't have to wait so long in line and had more time to sit down and enjoy my McMeal inside of the "restaurant".

My friend, that's why they say to always be at the station an hour ahead of time. If you had been there an hour early, you would have heard the driver when they had announced that it was time to board the bus and your asset wouldn't have been left behind.

Bad and non compassionate

My mother journey begin FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 20TH FROM FORREST CITY, ARKANSAS. A 17 HOUR TRIP ENDED UP BEING 24 HOUR TRIP. ALL TRANFER CONNECTIONS WERE MISSED DUE TO LATE ARRIVAL AND BUSES REFUSE TO WAIT. SHE WAS TALKED TO VERY RUDELY. MY MOM IS 74 YEARS OLD AND DESERVE A FULL REFUND FOR SUCH A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Bus departed from port authority smelling like *** , After a while The smell was so bad I felt like throwing up. We told the driver , he said when we reached Albany They will clean it, All they did was spray in the bus but nothing was cleaned the smell was like We are sitting in the toilet all of us with no option for air or any exchange of air. confirmation # 3978535001 3978535002 was told by the greyhound customer service rep that bus would be leavings at 2:25 harrahs. come to find out us left bus terminal at 11:15. had to by another ticket from NJ transit for another 78.00. called 849 8966 was put o hold and then disconnected and called back and rep hung up the phone. I will never ride on greyhound bus again . and i will tell friend and family not to ride also.

I purchase a ticket on August 31 leaving Jacksonville Florida going to Cleveland Ohio. Leaving on September 1st arrived in Cleveland at 5:27.. I’m in Cincinnati and they tell me they have no driver. Lost Luggage

8/3/19 My mother went to Greyhound in Dayton, Ohio to board a bus to Cleveland. The ticket agent did not tag her luggage. The person putting luggage under the bus, placed the bag under the bus even though it did not have any tags nor name information. Needless to say, my mom had to switch buses in Columbus, Ohio her suitcase was left on the bus and for the last month we have been getting the run around on finding this suitcase. Greyhound keeps passing phone numbers around, but we cannot get anyone to answer at the New York, New York Greyhound. What the *** does anyone work!!
