Greyhound, are you kidding me?!
ive been waiting for my bike for over a month and a half now, and have been spam-calling greyhound all week to get no *** response whatsoever. heres the story: on may 11th, i traveled from charlotte, nc, to milwaukee, wi, and had a bike shipped with me. by the time i got to milwaukee 24 hours after getting on the bus in charlotte, my bike was nowhere to be found. turned out it was still a few states behind, according to the person i spoke to, so i gave him my then-cell number and he cheerfully told me id get a call when it arrived. 3 weeks later, on my new phone, i call them because i had yet to recieve a phone call. after a long, boring wait, i finally speak to a guy who tells me my bike is there and i can come get it whenever i want. i dont go there that day, because my fiancee had to work, nor do i go the next day, because of *** weather. two days after i call, he and i decide to go and pick it up, only to find that the day before, the crappy-weather day, it was shipped out to dallas, where they send all things that havent been claimed yet. problem is, theyre supposed to wait 3-4 weeks after the item arrives. in the case of my bike, they waited 2 weeks. after a week and a half of TRYING to understand what the *** is going on in dallas (their representatives hardly speak any *** english), i finally convince a hispanic gent to send my bike back to milwaukee. 2 weeks ago i filed a claim for it, and have been calling onver and over and *** over again since, left 3 messages, and have come under the suspicion that those bastards may have actually had the gall to BLOCK my phone number, considering every time ive called today, i always get a *** busy signal, but when i called on my fiancees phone, there was no busy signal. at that, greyhound, you may go *** yourselves. i can assure you i will never be using the greyhound again and insist to anyone who plans to travel out of state, if its an option, try driving instead. i see no reason why greyhound should profit from such *** customer service, and i assure you they will hear from me over and over and over and over and over again until i get my godd*mn bike.
My husband and I were travelling via Greyhound yesterday (Fri June 26th) from New York to Toronto. At the Buffalo terminal, we were notified that 'some how' our luggage was lost/misplaced/stolen! That is understandable. What is retarded and absolutely unacceptable is...View full review
This was a trip from Missoula, MT to Sweetwater, TX about a month ago. I got to the station 3 hours early so I could check my suitcase and walk around for a while since, as anyone knows, most of Greyhound's depots are too small with too little seating. Before...View full review
Greyhound does not refund money
I purchased a ticket on June 3rd 2011, online and for whatever reason the ticket would not print. I tried their reprint option and ticket would not print. I called them and they gave me my option to travel... buy another ticket and request a refund. I was very upset as they had already drafted my account and I needed to travel that day to Dallas. I mailed my request for a refund Monday the 6th and to this day I have not received my refund. I type this complaint as most people have no other travel option, and their complete disregard to me, and I'm sure many others has been very upsetting. I just hope another bus company comes along so competition will make them give us, their customers the respect we deserve.
grey hound sucks i will tellevery one that i know to either fly or take a train or rent a car.the employees at the tulsa terminal were verry rude the place was under staffed they had a spanish girl behind the counter trying to get tickets and help people the best she...View full review
Greyhound in Pharr, Texas - Where is my SON!
Unbelievable *** – this company! I sent my 15 year old son via Greyhound to visit his family in New York from Texas for the summer. He's hitting four transfers on a 3 day trip and his cell phone broke. I'm worried he didn't make the transfers. His mom is pregnant and stressed out beyond belief for her son's safety. I assumed I could just call Greyhound customer support to ask for help in finding him and not one f'n employee gave my thoughts the time of day. I called several Greyhound customer service reps here in the US and in Columbia (outsourced call center) to get help and they all stated verbatim the same ***: "Sorry sir, we can't do anything to locate your son. Here is the number to the next bus station; ask them to announce his name over the PA system." The problem with this BS solution is that my son doesn't hear too well. When I asked them to just call the bus driver they refused. Greyhound Corporate (a gal with the initials CB) even said it would be better to call the police department because they might have better luck finding him – unbelievable this company. As of right now I have no idea where my son is and more importantly if he's ok. I will never use Greyhound again. It would have been much better to spend the extra dollars on a plane ticket. If anything happens to my son I will file a law suit on this dilapidated and malfunctioning company for not having adequate procedures in place to locate passengers in case of emergencies. I hate companies that talk to customers by the book and outsource their customer service centers; nobody ever says "let me see what I can do" anymore and it's very difficult to understand English speakers with thick accents, especially if you're making the call from a busy area.
Don't use Greyhound Bus lines there the worse *** bus lines out there trust me you have a better chance at driving or taking the airlines!!! I never recieved my tickets in the mail, they say online that you can purchase a kids ticket but you cant,so that you have to call them & pay an extra $100.00!!!! You deal with the rudest people ever that talk to you & shaow you that you are nothing & mean nothing to them like as if we DON'T PAY THERE CHECKS!!!!! But when you get irritarted they hang up on you & or give you someone who you can't understand. What they need to understand is because of (us the people) Greyhound that's how you get paid!
