Because of a mishap with the train my daughter is getting into Grand Central 15 minutes before her bus. She must pick up her ticket before being able to board the bus.

By doing so, she will probably miss the bus. Greyhound will make her pay 20 bucks to reschedule if she misses. They also have a ridiculous policy of charging an $18 fee if the ticket is purchased by anyone other than the rider. How absurd that a parent cannot purchase a ticket for their child without a fee!!

Its disgusting!! I hope Megabbus an Boltbus put you out of business!!! I am sure they are eating well into your market!

They are much more accommodating and are with the times allowing tickets on cell phones.

Product or Service Mentioned: Greyhound Bus Service.

Reason of review: Poor customer service, policy of requiring a printed ticket and not helping in an exigent situation, charging extra when parent pays for child's ticket.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.

The root cause of the problem was a mishap with the train. Why are you bashing Greyhound?

You are speculating as to what Greyhound would do before it happens. What really did happen?

I bet the greyhound agent understood the situation and didnt charge any fees. For the record, Bolt bus is operated by Greyhound.
