On Oct 19, 2016 bus schedule # 3537 arrived an hour and 10 minutes late to Concord NH terminal. Departed Concord to Whiteriver Junction Vt.

Bus driver or Greyhound never informed the passengers that a driver change will be required and there will be a 2 hr delay departing from Whiteriver. The delay actually resulted in 3+ hrs delay. Dispatches did not have a clue of the delay or issue each we called to check on status of the bus. And the drivers failed to properly communicate the status of the issue and delay.

Passengers were left alone on the bus while the bus was running with no driver visible in sight of the passengers. While nothing happened there were some passengers who felt their safety was potentially compromised. Anyone could have stepped on the bus creating a dangerous situation for all passengers. Greyhound needs to adhere to safety practices as well as be accountable for maintaining schedules.

Consumer Fraud and deception is evident as the trip is marketed as leaving from Concord NH at 3:40pm arriving in Burlington Vt at 7:10pm. As of this writing the passengers left Concord at 5:10pm and its currently 10:06pm just leaving Whiteriver Junction with another hour and 30 mins to go! The bus had a majority of college students returning to the local Burlington Vt campuses of UVM and St Michaels College. I suspect the passengers as well as most of the parents of those students are upset W/ the lack of communication, irresponsible in leaving the passengers on the bus while running and unattended.

Will seek other forms of transportation for our college students' future trips.

Reason of review: Problem with delivery.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Location: Laconia, New Hampshire

Actually, I used to live in Burlington, Vermont and would make many very long cross-country trips starting from there. the Vermont Transit Lines Buses were Luxurious compared the nasty *** Greyhound buses that I would have to transfer to in Albany.

When I would get to Albany, I would rush to get first place in line, but was disappointed when the bus that I was waiting for heading west was already filled to Sardine City capacity, as it had originated in Boston or New York City. The Buses out of Burlington are much nicer than Greyhound is.
