I have made to forms i have submitted the forms twice and so has my gf and we haven't received any info about our luggage and on top of that our driver said 1135 we leave he then decided to leave earlier then that and caused us to lose our belongings since we ran to the store and thought we had time to go get food and snacks for the rest of our trip so firstly I feel we deserve either to have our stuff returned and have grey hound actual contact and inform us or i expect to be paid back in full since the greyhound driver said to be back at 11:35 and then left at like 11:10 causing us to miss the re boarding because they miss informed us and left without making sure all passengers were back on board so idc if they say the aren't liable for luggage because this was a hundred percent greyhounds fault and I expect them to fix there damn mistake
No refunds ever
After my flights were cancelled due to the Malibu fire I bought a round trip ticket from Greyhound. I needed to be there at a certain time to a job interview.
The quoted 22 hour trip turned into a 48 hour trip. 27 hour layover and delay.
No Job they wouldn't even see me. So I call customer service about a refund they said I qualified but denied the refund.

There’s no call/message or anything from Greyhound’s end. It’s been almost 24hrs.
Bed customer service.
No refund process notification yet. Bad customer satisfaction.
We were standing at the bus stop. The bus came early.
We were not sure if that was our bus. The driver didnt inform us. And the bus left. Weve been waiting since.
Its 7:08 now and we checked it showed the bus was early 6:36
This isnt fair for such an early bus. I request a refund.

Lost luggage
It has been more than a week and I still haven't heard anything yet it's a gray tote and an suitcase with poke a dots black can you please get back to me it has my medicine in it

Do not use this service. I made the awful mistake of putting my mother, aunt, and uncle on one.
They left Ohio at 8:30 AM. They stopped in Atlanta, GA., heading for Mobile, Alabama. They got there at 11 PM. They were then told that they didn't have a driver until 8 AM.
Terrible, right? The driver did not show up at 8 AM as they were told. He got there at 5 PM Tuesday afternoon. No explanations, no apologies.
When I called to complain, I was told that you can only email your problem. They don't have an actual person you can speak with about a problem. Only booking can you speak to a live person. Deplorable.
So angry right now. You have been warned.

Verified ReviewerCanceled bus and kicked out of bus station when it closed and they did not give me a hotel
Greyhound canceled a connecting bus from Boston to Tulsa. I had a 16-hour difference between buses.
They closed the station in Kansas City for cleaning at 10 am and reopened at 4 pm. They kicked me out of the station with my 2 sons and 2 grandkids and did not provide me a hotel.
Their words were, and I quote, 'I was out of luck and on my own.' I had almost $300 in extra expenses due to their cancellation, not to mention how filthy every station is. But, look at the windows at the Kansas City, Missouri station.

A trip from Frederick,MD-Bal-NYC (arr.@2pm) was rerouted from Frederick,MD-DC-NYC(arr.@6pm) without giving me the option of accepting the change or declining and rebooking or receiving a refund!! When I called customer service I received the obligatory Im sorry for the inconvenience and was told that their tickets are non refundableand if I wanted to cancel the trip I would only receive a Greyhound VOUCHER worth AT MOST, 75% of my purchase price!!
HOW?!?!?!??? I could understand if I wanted to change for whatever reason, but GREYHOUND CHANGED THE ITINERARY!!! Why should I be forced to accept your change in schedule and/or eat the cost of an alternative option??? Not to mention, said change will ADD 4 HOURS to my travel time??
I wound up rebooking a bus from Balt-NYC, but now I must fight with them to get back my portion of the Frederick-Balt portion of my trip, which I fully intend to do! I stopped using Greyhound YEARS ago because of their unreliability and switched to Peter Pan. The only problem is that Peter Pan does not go to Frederick, MD.
The ONLY reason I chose Greyhound this time was to keep my son-in-law from having to drive me to Balt. Well, after this trip, its back to Peter Pan!!!

I was injured on a Greyhound bus, which was also hours late and refused to go to Visalia, the bus station on my ticket. The driver was cited for safety violations.
Greyhound hasn't responded to emails, and their customer service line--which is very difficult to reach--says they're not able to provide insurance information or submit a liability claim. Greyhound offered no solution.
- More times available than amtrak
- Not dependable
- Dangerous
- No accountability
Preferred solution: I want an insurance liability claim filed so I can get medical treatment for the injuries caused by Greyhound as well as a refund for the ticket.

Driver at the bus demanded and took $40 cash from me after lifting my bag. I am allowed a carry on and 1 bag.
I had no carry on. He offered no receipt and threatened to kick me off the bus. This is unacceptable. I am writting to request my $40 returned.
Portable scales exist and were not used.
His opinion does not suffice. I used the same bag on an airplane which usues a scale with no issue.

The bag was removed from the bus in Memphis, Tennessee. It's been three weeks with no response.
I drove to the Memphis terminal and received no help. The web service is terrible. Customer service is a nightmare. Talking to them is like talking to a recording.
They know nothing. I think you should be fired and retrained, considering the wait time to get an answer. You could bake a cake before they answer. I think that you should have someone they can help, a live person and a working phone number.
I'll probably never use Greyhound again. To whom it may concern, thank you.

During my 5-hour transfer at the terminal, I witnessed employees arguing with customers using profanity and threats. The bus drivers for Greyhound are very rude and disrespectful to customers. My two-day experience with Greyhound was very disappointing.

I was pushed off to another rep but was told I need to go through travlersaid.org phone call was helpful but I've been on my phone all day only to be pushed on to do something I'm not familiar with.i don't want to be left out on the streets with no way of getting home me I thought that if I completed this program I would be given transportation they do but not out of florida.i have no job and nowhere to go and my family has no money to get me there do to there own hardship

Luggage got stolen on Oct 8 2024
I caught the bus in Atlanta and I transferred in Lake Charles my luggage was gone the bus driver help me look for my luggage then he told me to get intouch with the greyhound bus station about my luggage so I did that I haven't heard nothing about my luggage I need to here from someone about my luggage
