Cattle being driven to slaughter are given more courtesy than a passenger on a Greyhound Bus. The seats are filthy, lice and crab ridden, and everyone is packed in there like a bunch of sardines with the person sitting next to you so close than they are pressed up against your body.

Many times this person pressed up next to you hasn't had a shower in quite some time. The smell is overpowering. The Air-Conditioning system on Greyhound Buses circulates the nasty air from the bathroom throughout the bus. If you are sitting next to the window, everytime somebody does their business in the restroom, the smell is circulated through the vent right under the window and the disgusting smell blows all over you, and I imagine makes you smell like that too.

Often, when the driver suddenly slams on the brakes, there will be empty beer bottles or other crap that rolls all the way down the aisles to the front of the bus. Many of the passengers are complete slobs, throwing all of their trash onto the floor when they are through eating, and they also throw bubble gum on the floor to when they are through chewing it. I always am very pleased on the few occasions when we get a comedian for a driver who keeps telling funny jokes and making everyone laugh. Many of the drivers are no-nonsense, strict by the rules with no exceptions made no matter what.

One lady driver told us that she considered everybody on the bus to be a part of her "Human Family" and that she was glad that she didn't have to go home with them every night. I agreed with her Whole-Heartedly. The prices on the Greyhound Bus for food, snacks and meals in exorbitantly priced, way more than you could get it for in a grocery store, or even a convience store for that matter. The Prices are nothing short of Highway Robbery, and the people that they are ripping off are poor, low income people or senior citizens on a fixed income.

I always risk getting mugged when I am forced to leave the Greyhound Property so that I can go find more reasonable prices for food and drink at either a Grocery store, Fast Food Place or Convience Store nearby. Many of the Greyhound Stations are in Rough Neighborhoods too.

The San Francisco Greyhound Station ins located in the Tenderloin District and you have to walk down urine soaked streets to get to the Jack-in-The-Box to get a reasonable priced meal. Greyhound, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves for making your passengers risk getting mugged so that they can avoid your "Highway Robbery Prices"!
