Encounter with Rude Greyhound Driver
I took the Greyhound/Peter Pan bus on 9/12/2015 at 7am from DC (Union Station) to NYC. My experience was horrible due to the unprofessionalism & very unpleasant attitude of the driver. He announced to two women in the back of the bus "it is too early for all that giggling and talking." A friend and I were talking to one another for maybe 5 minutes before the driver pulled the bus over on the side of the highway to reprimand us for talking /laughing and informed us he is not our babysitter and would drop us off in Baltimore.

Greyhound steals peoples money
I am utterly in shock how I have been treated with a simple matter with Greyhound. Since December I have been trying to get my money back from them for a refundable ticket. It has been confirmed by them over and over that I will be receiving my money back but it's over 5 months now and still nothing. They keep telling me that it takes a certain amount of time for the process to be dealt with. First I had to wait 3 months for a refund. After they confirmed that it is a refundable ticket and that the ticket has been received in the mail, then there is a discrepancy on their part. Now that the discrepancy is corrected I had to wait 7-14 days for the refund to actually be processed and yet NOTHING has been done. When I called them today to check on the current status since it is now over 14 days they hung up on me three times, and on the fourth time the gentleman claimed that he couldn't hear me. Of course he wants me to call back. My patients have run out, and it's enough of me being patient, understanding, and gentle with the situation. I don't understand what they want?!?! Are they looking to upset their consumer so they don't return? They have my money and they don't want to give it back to me nor are they willing to speak to me when I haven't even said a word to them yet. They keep looking for excuse. I thought this was a large reliable corporation. Sadly after losing my money I have learned that this is a scheme and there is no one to talk to without them either hanging up on you or saying they can't hear you so they don't have to help you out. Greyhound is not a trustworthy reliable company! Watchout if you don't want to lose your money!!!!
I had a very poor experience recently with Greyhound Bus Services. On journey, which required travel of approximately 14 hours, I discovered how Greyhound employees treat their passengers......like dirt! Each driver treated everyone with such contempt and resentment....
I purchased a ticket online bound for Hagerstown from DC. When I got to Baltimore to transfer. I was told that the bus no longer goes to Hagerstown. Why I wasn't told when I picked up my ticket is beyond me in DC. At 9 o'clock PM, I would have been stranded in Baltimore with no way to get home. The bus driver from DC was kind enough to drop me in Frederick, MD where I was picked up. The website information and The attendant at the counter misled me. I am VERY DISSAPOINTED by the service provided.

greyhound left my bags at the atlanta terminal and that was after i seen them put them under the bus why would you take my bags back off the bus after you just loaded them on the bus i got on sheesh greyhound has bad customer service and bad baggage dept please fix greyhound bus service i might just never ride them again that is 3 x this has happened if they are owned by First Student Which is a school bus company what do they do this with the children also forget to drop them off at the right stop or forget them all the way you can't fix ***

I was traveling to a little town called Fayetteville, NC, for a job interview scheduled at the last minute. Since Megabus, my savior, only went up to Durham/Charlotte (in NC), I decided to transfer to the dreaded Greyhound at a cartain destination. 1. I booked my Megabus ticket to Charlotte and purchased a greyhound ticket from Charlotte to Fayetteville. Only, Greyhound booked it erroneously from Raleigh (!) to Fayettville. This was on a Friday so the guy at the NC station whom I called, asking for information, chided me for booking online and said I would have to talk to the customer reps on Monday (the day of my trip). 2. Since Megabus is more accommodating, I decided to change my Megabus reservation to Raleigh so that there would be no problems. That went off smoothly, except that Megabus goes up to Durham. So I had to look at dreaded Greyhound from Durham to Raleigh (a 35-min bus ride). 3. At Durham, waiting for the Greyhound, in the company of the usual "characters," the desk conveniently forgot to tell us, the passengers, that the bus was canceled. We found out when a guy started yelling and expressing his frustration. 4. Approaching the front desk, the guy got into a fight with me for choosing the online option to book tickets! This despite me explaining that I was not angry with him for Greyhound canceling the bus...I just wanted information -- on refund, my options to get to raleigh, and such. The guy did not know what "reimburse" or "refund" meant. I had to spell and then write it out and then refer to it as "get the money back on my card." 5. I took regional transit (wayyyy better) and reached the place ok. And the next day, it was traumatic again with Greyhound. 6. This is the most rotten service I've ever come across. The rides have never been pleasant and the company on the bus/at the station is God awful. Please do not rely on the Greyhound for anything. I HIGHLY recommend Megabus in the US. It's so much better. Everything-wise.
For all the people who are complaining about Greyhound's service, I know many people who take Greyhound on a regular basis and even had very many compliments about greyhound and their service. What you particular people have to understand is that many of you break...
