greyhound bus lines have broken the company to other subsidiaries so you have problems fighting them on complaints and the only people you can talk to from there is customer service which is a joke.I went to Toronto and on the way back the bus left 20minutes late and then got held up at the border for 30minutes.I then catch the connecting bus but when I get to the next connecting bus it has already left and I cannot catch the next but till the next day and no offer of accommodation and the only thing I could do is catch a bus 12miles from my house or stay out over night but the second option is no good because the bus stop were my wife was supposed to pick me up from was told no way I could get left behind and implied that I was sleeping around and that is why I missed it.we rang greyhound on the 12 of july 2016 about this and have been told we get a cheque of $45 as a refund for the problems but when we get the cheque it has the name wrong on it and now they want it mailed back and wait 8weeks to get it back.it is now the 1 of September 2016.great way to treat a person here on the first trip to usa and first time overseas.is there anyone in that *** hole company that can speak english and can do there job properly.how would they like to wait that long to get there pay.oh sorry I forgot you pay *** you get *** workers.I have a bag of peanuts for the monkeys.

5 years ago this *same* Missoula bus station lost my luggage. I checked in early and went to get something to eat, and when I was on board and watching the luggage being loaded, I didn't see my suitcase.

I disembarked and asked the lady who runs the place where my suitcase was, and was told, "Oh, it must have been put on the bus heading to Seattle." Turns out this lady's *** teenage son who didn't even work there was messing around in the baggage area, and that he "was just trying to help." I was assured my suitcase would be arriving at my destination probably before I even got there, and all would be A-OK. Wrong. I was blatantly LIED to, for the suitcase was not waiting for me, and it never arrived. Have never seen that suitcase again, which contained at least $700 worth of items.

And it was like pulling teeth getting Greyhound to honor their $250-maximum-lost-baggage payout. But I also blame that incompetent Missoula supervisor, who let an unauthorized non-employee mess with customers' luggage.

She should've been fired, as I made clear to Greyhound management.

i recently road the greyhound and the driver that dropped use off at the Atlanta terminal threw my bran new bag into the street braking the wheels and the primary zipper. the staff at the Atlanta terminal (were i spent 8 hours at waiting for my next bus btw) told me i had to report it at the destination terminal. well my destination terminal was a burger king. so i call there customer service and they told me to fill out the claim form on the web sight. which i did. 2 weeks later i hadn't heard anything so i called them back. the lady that i talked to was very rude. i ended up having to have her transfer me to there corporate office were they told me i had to go to the closest terminal and fill out the form there. i informed her that i am a truck driver and that i cant just drive out of my way to a greyhound terminal cause when im driving im working. she then basically told me they cant help me until i go to the terminal. i will never set foot in a grey hound again and thats all without mentioning how crammed and dirty there buses and terminals are and all there terminals are located in slums. greyhound is a joke. if u are ok with dirty surroundings, rood employees that have no respect for personal property, and being placed in areas that as soon as u get off your offered drugs then this is the transportation for you.

I was trying to get my daughter from Minnesota home to Ga. She fell asleep and missed her bus in Atlanta. She was told she had to pay $20 re-scheduling fee to catch the next bus home but she had to pay in CASH! My daughter had no money so we tried to pay the $20 over the phone to the bus station attendant....no deal. So I call customer service and plead my daughters situation to no avail. I was told we could wire her the money to Western union but I told them that was 5 blocks away in DOWNTOWN ATLANTA and she had no way to get there and back! Still no deal....cash or walk. So now we have to drive 6 hours round trip to pick my daughter up. I will NEVER even consider greyhound again!!!
