Dont ever book with greyhound!!!! Bad customer service (the agent gave me a sarcastic tone!) Skeptical and no signs for the bus stop! You cant get a refund because you missed the bus from running around the area to look for the right bus stop. Never again!!!

The Greyhound Bus is a combination of a Jail, Mental Hospital and a Homeless Shelter all rolled into one. If you are thinking about taking a real long trip, you should first go find the most uncomfortable chari you can find and sit still in for 10 hours without getting up so that you will know what you are getting into before foolishly buying a ticket.

Greyhound - They don't know what is going on with their buses - and don't care

My Son, Daughter and Mother left Oklahoma City for Kansas City on June 12th. The bus was supposed to leave at 11:15 - Left at 12. Was supposed to arrive Kansas City at 6:45. The bus left out of Emporia at and started driving the wrong direction. My ex-husband was tracking through the Greyhound Ap and they went of the Grid at 8:15. My 18 and 20 year old also witnessed the bus driver turning off the GPS. Due to the bus driver error she arrived in Lawrence Kansas at 9:30. Still a good 45 minutes from Kansas City. Apparently there was a disagreement between the bus driver and 2 other passengers because they got off to have a cigarette after she told them not to. They would not get off the bus so the bus driver called the police. By this time my mom and children had enough and took uber home to overland park - Another $70 expense. When I called Greyhound they informed me that the bus arrived Kansas City at 8:15 and that the most they could refund me base on arriving 1 1/2 hour late was $20 a ticket. When I explained that was impossible and told them what happened, they said they had to go by the GPS. They would not even consider doing the research. I have the Uber receipt, there has to be a police report, surely someone recorded arrival in Kansas City and then there are payroll records for the bus driver. Customer service told me they only go by the GPS record. I guess I should be thankful that the bus did not have an accident because it was not tracked correctly after 8:15. It is abohorent to be that a company as big as Greyhound would not be the least bit concerned about this type of complaint. I called and talked to 3 different people and got the same response. If I were a lawyer or had the money, I would be suing them for negligence.

I booked my one way trip from Victorville to Santa Ana on 6/9/18. I booked this trip for this day and time so I would be able to attend my friends memorial service, which I ended up missing due to Greyhounds 2 hour late bus and the driver deciding to change the order the stops. Here is what happened: The scheduled time of pick up in Victorville was 10:45am Saturday, June 9th. The bus arrived at 12:30 pm with no explanation or apology from the driver. Not only was the trip delayed 2 hours from the start? I don't know why. Then the driver decided on his own no explanation again to stop in Anaheim first before Santa Ana? Why? The schedule clearly states the order of the stops and it is Santa Ana first then Anaheim. They are close enough that my ride could have easily picked me up in Anaheim or Sanat Ana but because the scheduled stops are Santa ana then Anaheim I chose Santa Ana. So after waiting for people to get off and get their bags he got back on the bus and announced that he stopped in Anaheim first to save time. WHAT!!!! Save whose time? Lousy customer service and lousy service in general if I could give them a - star rating I would. To make a long sad story short I missed my friends memorial service. I will be looking into a different transportation service for all of my future trips.

No wonder so many people feel like they need "a couple of drinks" before boarding the bus. I can see why so there are so many people on the bus getting drinks.

i've witnessed lots of them adding hard liquor to Super-Sized Fountain Drinks. I always wish that I had something to drink myself to help ease the pain of my hurting legs that I am unable to move being all squashed into my seat and all.

Greyhound - Bad experience in salt lake City Utah they lied

I was supposed to catch the 8:00 pm bus then they said midnight then it wasn't until 7:30 am the next morning and they knew at 8:00 we wasn't leaving there was roaches on the floor and they made a 12 year old boy sleep separate from where his aunt was they put females on a bus n males on the other but a 12 year old ?? And they was rude and inconsiderate about everyone having to stay the night it wasn't our fault I don't even want to go Greyhound no more n I've been traveling for 20 years

I would often load up on snacks and food to take with me on my long Greyhound trips. I remember in the Salt Lake City Greyhound station, I was eating one of the apples that I had brought along with me.

A little girl walked up to me and asked me for one, and I happily gave her one of them, glad to help out. Another time, I was riding the Greyhound bus in North Carolina and was eating some sunflower seeds out of a real big bag that i had brought along.

A hippy girl saw me eating them and asked me for some, and I gladly poured he a big handful. She went back to her seat and shared them with her hippy boyfriend.

Greyhound - Abhorrent. Rude. All around terrible service

Overcharged for carryon luggage. Mistreated by employees because I'm a transgender person. Too many delays. Was forced to go somewhere not on my route, made to get another ticket, then my sister was forced to pick me up in a state not on my route.

Greyhound - Buses and handling people with disabilities

hi there greyhound is an ok bus service but they need to regulate who goes on the buses to many drunk and people on the buses that they allow.. also they need to work on helping people with disabilities better. at our second to last stop they left my friend on the bus who was in a wheelchair.. the driver just disappeared. so he basically climbed off the bus alone. our buses were late so we missed my buddy wedding that we were going to see.. and bc of everything we didnt even wait for last bus when we got back we called a family member to pick us up

Riding the Greyhound Bus is like holding a real cute kitten that keeps sqirming in your arms, trying to get away. And finally you realize why it was tring so hard to get away when it does all over your shirt what Greyhound Service is described by many as being.

A word starting with the letter S. You say to yourself "I never should have kept holding on to that kitty-cat when it kept squirming trying to get away" The same way that you say "I never should have ridden on that Greyhound Bus against my better Judgement"

Greyhound - The trip took 24 hours more than was scheduled

Aborted in Key West Florida and was supposed to be to Dyersburg Tennessee and the bus was late for 12 hours in Atlanta and then upon the bus getting there and taking me to Nashville the lady at Nashville rerouted me saying that it would be quicker however I ended up in Indiana and then had to come all the way back down. I remember years ago they used to squeeze as many people on a greyhound bus like they could, with the entire aisle filled with standing passengers from front to back. I used to think that with all of the money people had to pay for their tickets, at the very least they should be able to sit down.
