Greyhound in Delmont, Pennsylvania - I think were gonna die

so first of all. our bus came at 5:40 ... it was late . and when we got on the bus there was no outlets , no wifi , no lights . and then it started to smell like gas , the smell constantly grew stronger and actually started to make me nauseous and hard to breathe .

Greyhound is noted for getting you there a day late and a dollar short.(because you had to fritter away all your money on overpriced food, drink and snacks). Plus, the lice medication that you have to buy at the conclusion of your trip can be quite expensive!

I would, but they don't service my hometown. And anyway, I have read plenty of Pissed Off Consumer reviews that make it sound almost as bad as Greyhound is. But I would take them if they were an option.

Once, when traveling through Atlanta on Greyhound, I walked around until I found a convenience store to buy some food & drink at. A VERY AGGRESSIVE panhandler hounded me for money and scared me real bad! He acted like he was fixing to mug me at any moment!

Details
2 hour delay for a 1 hour trip. Reason: there was no bus assigned for the trip from Hollywood to Oxnard, even though this was a regularly scheduled trip. No Wi-Fi in station, only metal benches. Poorly organized and managed company.

One time when I was riding the Greyhound Bus, I went to go buy 1 liter bottle of Coca Coal at the 7-Eleven store while we were waiting in San Bernardino, California. The cashier put it in a paper bag for me.

I ran back to get back on the bus before it left and the black greyhound employee came onto the bus and demanded that I show him what was in the bag. He thought that I had a quart of booze in it!

I rode into Nashville once in the middle of winter and it was snowing heavily. I noticed that there was a rescue mission right across the street, so I went over there to get a free meal.

As I was waiting for dinner to be served, this black guy yelled out "The Cold Weather Brings Out The Freaks!" and I had to laugh because the place was filled with all kinds of freaky looking characters who appeared as if they normally stayed out in the bush, but had only come to the rescue mission to get out of the cold. the meal sucked, but was alot better than any of the overpriced crap that I could have gotten from the "Traveler's Grill" inside the Nashville Bus Station.

I looked up on the internet and they showed where a greyhound bus was stranded in El Paso in January 2015 and that there were over 100 stranded passengers. It said that Greyhound forbidded filming in the station(i wonder why!!!!!), but someone clandestinely filmed inside and the place looked a mess!

They said that each person was given a donut and a bottle of water and a blanket!(Whoop-de-doo! We paid $200 for our tickets and were stranded and got a donut!) I feel very sorry for your son and grandson and i hope that god blesses them so that they have enough money to where they never have to ride Greyhound again and that they have enough money to buy decent bicycles for a reputable store that specializes in bicycles and that they never have to stoop to eating that gross food from McDonalds ever again. I also read a story(on the internet) about a greyhound bus stuck in Van Horn, Texas for 5 hours recently in may 2018. Wow, I feel so much compassion for them.

Greyhound should have opened up the coffers and paid for taxi cabs to take the customers the rest of the way to their destinations. The money's there, they could do it they wanted to and if they had any kind of human decency.

You talk about Greyhound being "Slow and Shabby" like it is something unusual, out of the ordinary. What you describe is typical of all Greyhound Buses.
