Greyhound in Louisville, Kentucky - Frequently Late

The buses coming from Nashville TN to Louisville KY LATE. both in December 2018 & July 2019. For some reasons drivers do not show for work. Which happened in January 2019 in route to Louisville KY from Indianapolis IN. Sad. Miss my connections a lot.

Apparently it does not matter if you have ticket/reservation...you may still be stranded. They will sometimes get you a hotel/uber...if they feel like it! Or they tell you they will...then don't and you have to sleep on the floor...or go to homeless shelter! Not how I...

Greyhound should have a few empty buses available so that when passengers become stranded, that Greyhound can let them go onboard it and sleep for the night. Greyhound could provide blankets and pillows and they could give them free meals from the Traveler's Grill Restaurant. They could put a fancy sign on the side of the bus saying "The Greyhound Motel" Actually, when I was in Eureka, California, I saw a cheap looking motel downtown called "The Greyhound Motel" It looked so run down from the outside, I didn't even stop to check it out or ask about the rates.

Grandson stranded because of Greyhound lousy bus service

My grandson was made to sleep outside on the street and wasn't allowed back in the terminal because his ticket was taken away and was no longer considered a customer. Greyhound doesn't care about people.

My grandson bought a ticket from Sioux City, Iowa to Duncan, Arizona. The bus was late for the layover and the passengers spent the night on the street because they wouldn't let them sleep in the terminal!! Next morning they caught the bus for Phoenix but the driver...

You shouldn't let your Grandson ride the Greyhound Bus. He have his belongings stolen from him and there are alot of unsavory characters lurking in the Greyhound stations looking for naive people to take advantage of. Next time, buy him an airline ticket.

Details
We just took a bus from Boston to New York City on a Friday late morning. It was one of the most unpleasant traps I can remember. This was a greyhound bus , I would guess old, with no trade tables, no seat pockets, no foot rest, and in operable Wi-Fi. The bathroom was just Disgraceful without any sink or flashing capability. We are not allowed to get off the bus for the entire five hour trip hello the driver did twice. I would never take this bus again !

The bus smeeled like POO all the trip up from NY to Boston. There were people talking at their phones and the driver did NOT say anything about that, acting like it was normal to talk at that volume inside a bus. Incredible. I'm so pissed off and not satisfied about the service. My dog would have driven better. And, I've to point that out, I don't own a dog. Thumbs straight down

Poor experience with Greyhound

Took Greyhound bus from Washington DC Union station to Philadelphia. Waiting on line was confusing as the line (C) included 2 busses. We were not notified about this until the boarding started. Told to board the wrong bus and then were told to turn back. The staff was very unhelpful in providing information. The bus was 50 minutes late in boarding. The sign above the boarding area was not well attached and fell on my head. Waiting area is very crowded , noisy, full of engine fumes, and was a exposed to the hot high temperature, high humidity weather. A very frustrating experience. Very unlikely that I will use Greyhound again.

On august 18 ,2016i bought a ticket for my son from moegantown to boston copley station,wish the bus did not get on time at 5:15ans pick up my son ,at 7:20 pm when my son got to baltimore town ,the bus driver first of all didnt help my son takw out the ticket whenva employee told me the bus driver can help my son ,because my son dont speak english,so my son couldnr take out his ticket from the machine ,my son calls me i live in p.r desperate ,i told hin to go to the counter ,icwas on line with my son ,he told the women ,for my ticket ,and he gave her the confirmation number ,and she says in a rough loud tonecof voice why you dont have your ticket ,i said to my son twll her here talk to my mom ,and thi employee was so. Rood and didnt take the phone ,so i can explain to her that my son dont have the tickets because i bougt it by internet from p.r and she didnt want to here me ,then this employee of greyhound ,that was working at 12:30 pm,tokd my son IF YOU DONT KNOW ENGLISH WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE TRAVELING,,,,,,,,,,these are the employee that greyhound has for a customer service ,then my son letting this person know he dont speak english ,she gave him a paper to fill out ,in english ,so i had to help my son by phone fill it out ,when i called and spoke. To an agent customer service explaining my son situation and she told my son wasnt going to no problem because at baltimore there are 24hours customer service and someone to help my son in spanish ,wish it was not true ,this employee women ,had allready my sons ticket on her hands ,why she gave him a hard time ,with a paper. To fill out when she had thy tickets ,why she descriminate my son ,what kibd of employee is she ,i call and did a claim ,what did the manager do ,about this situation,i ask for a refund ,ticket for tge bad ,actitude,the descrimination this women did to my son ,and because of the bad ,service that the bus didnt get on time ,then the bus from baltimore to boston ,this bus driver drop my son at south station,and my son show him the ticket ,that his destination is at copley square station ,and he told my son to go walking ,that is not far. ,,,,,,,that is not the point i bougt a ticket to. Copley station thats where my son was going to get pick up ,my son dont kbew where to go walking and then with his laugage what kind of service was these ,i had to call from p.r a taxi to pick up my son at south station ,and then the employee from customer service tells me that they going to give me a 15:00 dollars refund ,with all these problem and hard time my son pass ,i said no and herw iam waiting for my money back i havent even recieve a call from no manager ,excusing to me these situation ,that happen ,and if this women descriminate my son how ,many other passenger she been descriminating,every day ,hey listen we are, U,SA citizen ,i born in newyok i raise in boston, and i know the laws ,and the rules,you know how i still feel about this my son being ,descriminated ,from this women ,and i dont have to know her name because she was the only person at 12:30 at the counter doing a terrible,and rood customer service ,tvanks to god i was not there present ,because these wonen would of been in jail because believe me i would of put her in her place lettibg her know who she thing she is descriminatibg spanish people ,i hope when sone one read this a main manager ,i could get a call and a help and get a recompense of this situation ,because what happen to my son and the way she was spoking and me here in p.r hearing this employee and me crying saying to my sob twll her to take the phone and she was so rood and,meen to my son and me that tgis dont cost ,15 :00 who this customer agent things that iam a what lady that dont know the rule and laws at USA this is my claim number 140312andmh name is alicia santigo and my sons name is maiquel acevedo ,i hope a manager do something about this situation ,and iam looking forward to do something about this 2employees The women and this bus driving inreponsable with my son.waiting for a respond .....thanks so much for your attention..........my number is 787-963-5453
