I was in NYC waiting to take the 6:30 pm bus to RI. They told us they did not have a driver.
We asked when are you going to get a driver? They said they did not know. in the meantime, there was a 7 pm bus to Boston. we asked if we could get on that bus and if they could have it stop in RI as they had to go through RI to get to Boston and they said no.
So we waited. And they said no driver yet. We ask when are yo going to get a driver? They said they did not know.
They abandoned us. We did not know if we were going to have to stay there all night and no one from the company was helping us. We found out that the last peter pan bus left for RI at 7 pm. They could have given us that info as an option.
Instead they said it was not their job. We went to customer services and they said they could not help us and to go downstairs again. They were al so rude. The line at customer service was out the door which tells you how many complaints they had.
Next door, there was no one in the peter pan line showing how few complaints that company gets. The Greyhound customer service room was filthy. The peter pan room was clean. By now we are in tears as no one is helping us or telling us if they are going to get a driver?
We asked could we be here all night? They said we could. Finally they get a bus driver who tells us he was hanging around waiting for an assignment and they just called him a few minutes before! We get on the bus at 9 pm and get to RI at 1 am ON A WORKNIGHT.
I called to request a refund and they would not give me one. This is a company that DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS. THIS IS VERY CLEAR.
I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!
