My email to Greyhound that bounced back as undeliverable ... I am writing to inform you on how appalled and disappointed I am with Greyhound Bus Lines customer service - phone and how passengers were treated. My mother, a senior citizen, was scheduled to depart New York at 11 am to travel to Richmond, VA arriving at 6:30pm. The original bus never arrived/passengers never got any notice until the dispatcher finally got them a different bus that arrived/left around 1:30pm, 2 and 1/2 hours later than scheduled. Then only to have an unscheduled stop in NJ at 3pm, left without a driver for over 2 hours!!!! No notice except that an alternate driver from Philadelphia was coming. This is ridiculous!! No announcements to the passengers or any explanation?? I call customer service to figure out what couldve possibly gone wrong and yet again, I am told that they DO NOT HAVE THAT INFORMATION?? And when someone could finally give me some glimpse of information, I was told that the bus will now arrive at 10:30pm . 4 hours later than expected!!! A total of nearly 12 hours to get somewhere in 6 hours???? What kind of business are you running here??? This is unacceptable. The customer complaint representative informed me that compensation would only be guaranteed if the customer completed their journey!! For what? To deal with the same aggravation round trip?! I will tell everyone that I know to NEVER UTILIZE GREYHOUND BUS LINES EVER!!! Your company does not care about its customers nor anyone for that matter and that you are just there for the bottom line to rape customers of their hard earned money for UNSATISFACTORY SERVICE!!! Thank you for ruining my mothers first experience with Greyhound. You have lost a customer for ever!!

The bus smeeled like POO all the trip up from NY to Boston. There were people talking at their phones and the driver did NOT say anything about that, acting like it was normal to talk at that volume inside a bus. Incredible. I'm so pissed off and not satisfied about the service. My dog would have driven better. And, I've to point that out, I don't own a dog. Thumbs straight down

Taking bus from Ithaca to NYC. First off, bus was late almost an hour. Everyone waiting and no one to ask for help. Called customer service. They didn't know where the bus was and couldn't help. So the gave me another number. On hold for another 25 minutes. Gave up once bus finally came. Once on bus, outlets not working. Wifi not working. No wonder all the bad reviews. Never again Greyhound

yes, same happened to me, bus was over booked causing me to miss my connect home. Girlfriend had to drive 1 1/2 hrs to pick me up.

Bus stop I was dropped at wasnt even a bus stop, it was a truck stop in the middle of nowhere. when I complained to our local gh terminal I was asked out into the parking lot, called the f word and a punk

Greyhound is the worst

I bought a ticket for my friend from NY to Las Vegas NV, for this trip my friend was to be taking the bus from NY , with WIFI and make one change in Pittsburgh for another bus to Vegas. I spoke to him a few mins ago. He said he has not got on a Greyhound Bus as yet with the features that was advertise, He has change to two disgusting mine buses , and has not reach his Connecting bus as yet. He said he know he will miss his bus because the driver is going slow, he has been cramped in the bus with no space for the last 10 hrs. This is what you call false advertisement. I was told he will be traveling on a roomy bus with wifi, and he still has not been able to relax and watch any thing on his Pad. I would not recommend Greyhound to any one again. The train or the Chinese buses are better

Hi Everyone that got robbed by Greyhound Lines, INC. I have moved few months ago from Los Angeles to Miami Beach and shipped 16 large boxes via Greyhound Lines, INC.

14 boxes were robbed, electronics, TV set, video camera, photo camera, stolen, half of my wardrobe stolen, expensive suits, dresses, leather jackets, most importantly I have also shipped large box containing all of my office paperwork, copies of client contracts, copies of my IRS tax returns,birth cerfificate,copies of my passport and social security was there and this box never arrived. I have suffered approximatelly 11,000.00 in stolen goods via greyhound. I am putting a class action law suite againts the Greyhound Corporation and I am looking for more victims that were carelessly robbed during their move from state to state in US by unlawful business practices of this company.

My daughter's Grayhoud bus recently left her stranded at a closed bus terminal in the evening from overbooking. The worst part was that the bus driver said there would be another bus coming; the next bus did not arrive until 8am the next morning.

Greyhound is the WORSE!!!!!!!

I traveled on greyhound 8/2010 and the service was the worst. I wrote an email to the refunds department immediately. I did not hear from them unitl 2 wks ago. They stated that I would receive a refund, however, I called the number provided and you can never get through. The phone just rings or goes to voicemail. It does not even say the company's name on the voice mail. Then I called the corporate office some one did answer and transferredd me to the refunds dept. Once again no one answered. I was on hold for 25 mins. I called back and explained the problem at the Corporate office and the woman was rude. I pray I never have to use greyhound again. If it was announced on the news that greyhound was closing their doors for good I would say "Peace out!!!"
