One time I was waiting for the Greyhound bus with four other passengers and the bus stopped and there were only three seats available. And the driver said that we all had to wait a few hours for another bus that was coming along, instead of at least letting three of us board.

One person very much wanted to board the bus saying that they were on the way to attend the funeral of a family member, and that they would miss the funeral if they had to wait for the next bus to come along.

The driver still wouldn't let them get on. I never could understand why the driver didn't have enough compassion on that passenger to let them make it to their relatives funeral on time.

I read in the newspaper that there recently was a Greyhound bus traveling from Cleveland, Ohio to New York York City. The driver accounced to the passengers that he was having engine troube and was going to have to drive back to Cleveland.

He ended up driving all thye way back to Toledo, Ohio before he realized that he missed his exit, and then had to drive all the way back to Cleveland. Sounds just like something that the government would do.
