The bus has a bathroom which is faulty and the whole bus smells like *** and urine. Everyone on the bus, bus #86163, 6:39pm bus from NYC to Mt. Laurel, NJ, has a frown of disgust in their faces. The smell is so unbearable. It's so unbearable that I had to change seats from 2 rows in front of the bathroom, to the 3rd row from the front. It has not helped at all. I'm holding down the vomit!

A few passengers begged the driver to open the hatches above, or switch buses. The hatches were opened.

But, the disgusting smell, which has to harbor harmful bacteria, continues. I cannot even open my mouth to speak. My nose has formed some type of coating inside to block the entrances to my nasal passages - and I'm not even sick.


Why should a captive audience of paying passengers have to endure this foul, disgusting, and sickening ride for over 1.5 hours?

It even caused a verbal fight on the bus between two passengers, one complaining to someone on her phone about the problem, and another passenger asking her to keep it quiet. If this would have been two males - instead of a man and a woman - fists would have been used. These two people were complete strangers to each other.

Why Greyhound?

Next time you should be sure to take along some air-freshener like Febreeze that eliminates the other, not just covers it up. Also maybe a can of Lysol Disenfectant for the Bathroom, to spray down the seat you are going to be sitting in, and possibly for the disgusting passenger sitting next to you.


And what of the people on board who are allergic to those *** sprays?
