Greyhound in Richmond, Virginia - 7 hours wait for a bus.

Greyhound is a disappointment. This is my second time riding with them and I have had bad experiences on both occasions. NEVER AGAIN. We were leaving from Atlanta to New York with one transfer in Virginia. When we arrived in Virginia at 6 am, we were told they had no drivers for our 8 am bus. 10 am came and they allowed people who had 10 am tickets to go on the 10 am bus to NY, while we who had the 8 am tickets were still stuck waiting on a driver to show up. 11.30 am came and it's the same thing. 12 pm came. Same thing. Finally at 1 pm a bus showed up to bring us to NY. The staff was so rude in Virginia. They had so much attitude and acted like this was our fault. They were the one at fault! And one of the drivers did not want to take people who were supposed to catch the 8 am bus because "It is at the discretion of the driver". She decides who she wants to bring on her bus. It was so ridiculous and I will be asking for a refund.

Greyhound in Petersburg, Virginia - Take Responsibility of your wrong doings!

I recently experienced the worst Greyhound experience as of March 26 to today. My bus schedule trip was from Jacksonville, FL to Petersburg, VA and when we arrived to Fayetteville, NC , some of us were asked to board another bus headed to Petersburg ALTHOUGH my trip said we’d only be riding the same bus the whole trip. With the unknown bus switch, they failed to transfer the bags to the other bus. I was only given a claim ticket to get my bags in my final destination Petersburg, VA. Greyhound lost my luggage and gave me the ULTIMATE runaround when I tried to find the whereabouts of my luggage. I was given a useless tracer #, I contacted corporate, customer service SEVERAL times, and even all the greyhound terminals along the routes my bag could potentially be at. Finally when I contacted the Raleigh terminal myself, a man by the name of Charles Davis found my bag, kept me posted on the whereabouts of that bus and where he would place my bag on the bus so they could return it to me safely to Petersburg. He was a huge help going out of his way and no one else tried to do that. They didn’t care because it wasn’t their problem. I received my bag 1 day before my final trip day and I feel like I was robbed of my whole entire trip because you guys lacked taking the responsibility of losing my luggage. I shouldn’t have had to track down my luggage on my own when I contact Baggage customer service they should be taking care of that. Since my trip was a complete waste and I had absolutely nothing for duration of my trip, I contacted customer service to see if I could get some kind of ticket extension since my whole trip was a waste and the woman I spoke to (last name Osborne) said that I could talk to the “terminal manager” about getting a waiver of the $20 trip change because she didn’t have control over that. I felt it was only right because I got absolutely nothing but a measly sorry for all the trouble Greyhound caused with my baggage. This morning, March 31, I went to the Petersburg, VA station, discussed to the terminal Manager, Traci or whatever her name is, my whole entire situation and she had nothing but excuses as to why she couldn’t do it. “Oh well it’s passed the 24hrs for ticket change, and “Oh you paid with a debit card and “Oh you purchased your ticket online and not at the terminal”. How in the world could anyone even have the option to change their ticket within 24hrs when you guys (Petersburg terminal) close at 4:30PM?? All in all she didn’t care and didn’t try to do ANYTHING about it at all. She was quite rude and obviously I was not of her concern. You guy should definitely evaluate your employees because a lot of them are rude and unhappy at their job and take it out on the customers, which is unfair. It’s very unfortunate that this company does not make their customers a priority. Unfortunately, this trip was my last stop EVER with Greyhound Bus Lines.

Greyhound Bus Service Review

9/12/15 7am Greyhound/Peter Pan driver from Washington DC to NYC is telling people talking in normal voices to be quiet and pulled the bus over on the highway to tell folks to get off in Baltimore if they don't like it. Drivers don't have to be friendly but they should still be nice. He told these young ladies it was too earlier in the morning to giggle
