Greyhound is a disappointment. This is my second time riding with them and I have had bad experiences on both occasions. NEVER AGAIN. We were leaving from Atlanta to New York with one transfer in Virginia. When we arrived in Virginia at 6 am, we were told they had no drivers for our 8 am bus. 10 am came and they allowed people who had 10 am tickets to go on the 10 am bus to NY, while we who had the 8 am tickets were still stuck waiting on a driver to show up. 11.30 am came and it's the same thing. 12 pm came. Same thing. Finally at 1 pm a bus showed up to bring us to NY. The staff was so rude in Virginia. They had so much attitude and acted like this was our fault. They were the one at fault! And one of the drivers did not want to take people who were supposed to catch the 8 am bus because "It is at the discretion of the driver". She decides who she wants to bring on her bus. It was so ridiculous and I will be asking for a refund.

9/12/15 7am Greyhound/Peter Pan driver from Washington DC to NYC is telling people talking in normal voices to be quiet and pulled the bus over on the highway to tell folks to get off in Baltimore if they don't like it. Drivers don't have to be friendly but they should still be nice. He told these young ladies it was too earlier in the morning to giggle

Greyhound - 18 hours late, poor customer service

Bus was 40 minutes late leaving Washington DC. No one said a word to passengers waiting in line. Bus was then 2 hours late getting to Charlottesville, VA. When I realized bus was going to be very late and miss connections I called Charlottesville station and was told basically tough luck. Station agent made no effort to help until bus arrived and he found out he had 10 angry customers on his hands. I eventually arrived in Bristol 18 hours later than the ticket I had bought. Grey hound has not responded at all to my complaints and request for at least a partial refund.

I paid for a ticket at a 711 and something didn't print right there I called and they said it would be fine and then I went to charlettesville va they put me on a bus but once I he got to roanoke va they switched drivers. He didn't accept what they had given me and took me off the bus in roanoke they pretty much told me I was screwed and sent me back to charlettesville I was suppose to go to arizona and I couldn't get a refund I called there suppose to send me another ticket but I'm a week late

Greyhound - Sold bus ticket for bus that never arrived.

I bought a one way bus ticket from Greyhound on June 1st for a trip from London, KY to Grand Rapids Michigan. London doesn't have a station so I traveled to Bristol TN to purchase the ticket as there on-line and telephone assistance could not accomplish the task. The bus was to depart the Burger King in London, KY at 8:05 A.M. I arrived at 7:30 A.M. and after waiting two hours, called Greyhounds Customer Service. Reached an individual that could not speak English very well but struggled thru and was told the bus was late. The bus would arrive but he could not tell me when. At 10:30 it was evident that the bus was not coming so my husband drove me to Lexington ,KY the nearest station on the route. What a nightmare. Several severely handicapped children laying on mats on the diry floor of the station. Both bathrooms out of order. People sleeping on the floor. The agent was courteous, but had no solution. Continued to say the bus I was scheduled to take was "LATE" but in reality, it was not coming. The next bus would be at 11:00 P.M. If I wanted to take that bus, I would have to find somewhere else to wait as the station closed from 4PM to 9PM. I asked for a refund and was told NO. I was fortunate in that my husband was still with me with our auto so we aborted the Greyhound nightmare. The State of Kentucky better look into the station in Lexington before they have a National Scandal on their hands. No working toilets? Handicapped children laying on the floor? I will never use Greyhound again, my concern in posting is that someone might send a loved one on this atrocious bus line not knowing how terrible it operates.

I;Never Ever Will Travel With Greyhound Again

I should have listen to my gut and traveled with Amtrak. I was taking my daughter from Richmond, VA to South Carolina to visit her great grandmother for the summer. The bus departure was 1:30am, we arrived 12:30am. The line was extremely long at the gate. The bus left early at 1:00am and the line was still long. They had overbooked. We were told that they would have to call drivers at home to come to work. They were all rude and unapologetic. We finally got on the 2nd bus 2 hrs. late. Needless to say, I miss my transfer in Charlotte, and had to wait over 4 hrs., same thing occurred while returning home. All they want is your money but don't want to deliver good service.
